Kendrick Lamar (Kidoti) Alijichanganya Kumdiss J Cole. 7 minutes Drill Bodied Kendrick

Hivi kuna watu mnaamini kabisa Cole anaweza kusimama Kenny? Cole ni rapper mzuri sana, hasa nyakati hizi za mumble rappers, ila hata iweje, Cole kwa Kendrick anakaa asubuhi na mapema tu, kuanzia flow, style, delivery, message n.k

I don't like what the hip hip community is doing to our fine and calm brother J Cole.

So what happened?

In 2023, Drake released a song featuring J Cole called First Person Sh00ter.
J Cole said in a verse that he, Drake and Kendrick were the big 3 rappers of this era.
In his words, "we started a league."

The song became Cole's first number-one song and Drake's 13th, tying the latter with Michael Jackson as artists with the most number-one singles.

Now all the artists mentioned in the song should be flattered by the shout-out right?

The commercial success of the song was supposed to be a win for every name associated with it.
But not Kendrick Lamar.

This month, Lamar dissed Cole saying there was no "big three - it's just big me".
He also said Drake and Cole's
best verses were wack.

Mind you, the producer of the diss track, Metro Boomin', is Drake's former collaborator turned archenemy. They had a close, working relationship, until they fell out and unfollowed each other on IG.

So Lamar was being messy and grimy.

Drake didn't respond to Lamar.
However, J Cole returned the heat in a track called 7 Minute Drill on his surprise album 'Might Delete Later'.

He rapped, "I got a phone call, they say that somebody dissing / You want some attention, it come with extensions."

He said Lamar's debut was a classic, but his latest album called 'Mr Morale and the Big Steppers' was tragic.

Like, Cole was dissing Lamar and still giving him some accolades. He continued,
"Your third (album) was massive and that was your prime" "I was trailing right behind and I just now hit mine."

He ended the song by declaring his respect for Lamar, but he wouldn't hesitate to come for him if the insults continued.

There was a clear undercurrent of regard for Lamar despite the tough talk.

7 Minute Drill quickly climbed the charts and was selling like hot cakes.
But it didn't feel right to Cole.

At the recent Dreamville Festival, he took to the stage and apologised to Lamar and praised his music catalogue.

According to him, he felt pressured to respond to Lamar's diss and noted that the song was the "lamest, goofiest" thing he'd ever recorded.
He added that he would accept whatever Lamar had to say to him.

He also promised to pull the song down from streaming platforms.

Tell me there's a better example of a stand up guy than Cole.
Tell me!
The man has always been chill in his lane.

However, hip hop fans are not having it in urban blogs.
Cole's decision to maintain peace was viewed by many as uncharacteristic of the hip hop culture.
They're saying he is a puci and a punk.

You see, this is one community that has always celebrated toxicity in the guise of being passionate about the music.

However, when the battle for supremacy and dissing leads to tragic consequences like m#rder, there is a sudden shift in tone, with calls for peace and civility.

They would light candles and start weeping uncontrollably.

But on the flip side, they believe aggression and v!olence is part of the culture.
I will never understand the disconnect.

That's why we listen to our r&b songs in peace and shun all things hip hop.
Well, unless I'm bringing ug-l¥ stories like this to y'all

Basically Kendrick started punching Drake, Cole was there, got pushed a little in the altercation, beat up on KDot for a minute and then comes out later and says "my bad dawg, I overreacted, you wasn't even trying to fight me". Got it👍🏽

Ila Kwa wachambuzi Wana Sema katoa sababu nzuri
Kuna mchambuzi kasema hii ni kama Jcole na Drake walikuwa club kwenye Kona wanakatika, Afu li'king kendrick likatokeza..likaanza kumpiga mabanzi Drake, Drake akaanza kumlilia mshkaji wake Cole amtetee, Cole akajaribu kurusha ngum moja ya kike ila alipoona damu zinatoka kwa Drake Akazimia😂😂

Saivi tunamsubiria aliyekuwa anatetewa Ajitetee😂😂

Ila Forest Hill naona kama Cole kaona liishe, guess Labda drake ana kuja na bomu
Cole karusha Taulo.
Hiapa baadhi ya mistari ya Kendrick
"Kendrick Lamar the people's champion 🏆, Career damaging verses,
What's this about is it money or skill? Maybe it's both and I got large amounts of it it's real,
You see my oath is unbreakable, my style is never mistakable, I can See y'all incapable to be the God Emcees.
They tapping out before we even get a chance to miss them"-Black Friday

"I was gonna kill a couple of rappers but they did it to themselves, everybody suicidal they don't even need my help"-King Kunta

Just know the next game played, I might slap the shit out you
Technical foul, I'm flagrant, I'm foul
They throwin' me out, you throw in the towel

Look at my smile, I'm smirking
Calm but urgent (that ain't the style, https://jamii.app/JFUserGuide)
So many verses, you live in denial (https://jamii.app/JFUserGuide)

Vizuri

So by default, The crown👑 of hiphop stays at the head of King Kendrick Lamar.

" I got a bone to pick, I don't want you monkey-mouth mothrfuckers sitting in my throne again"-King Kunta
