Having a big rear is
considered sexy for the majority of man. Its not just a sign of a
healthy individual bit it also looks great in jeans. In fact, many
ancient fertility statues discovered all around the world have shown to
have a enormous butt. Granted that its probably to emphasize the
fertility function, still, it shows that big butt have been considered
as one of the good sign in woman since the old civilization.
Now modern science have also discovered that there is more benefit for
woman with big rear.
New study have revealed that having stored fat in your rear or your
thigh, or as known as subcutaneous fat, can actually improve your life
expectancy. The research conducted by experts from Mayo clinic in
Rochester, Minnesota US showed that these accumulated fat can help
reduce the risk of heart attack, stroke and diabetes.
Big Butt is A Good Thing
Noted that this doesnt apply to stored fat on your belly or abdominal
fat. Apparently fat stored on your belly are not the same with the one
stored on your rear and thigh.
In the study the scientist discovered that the stored fat on your rear
and thigh contains anti-inflammatory enzyme that could release artery
blockage. It is also effective in encouraging your body to use your
natural insulin to fight off diseases and ironically, lose weight.
The subcutaneous fat is also breaks down slower than abdominal fat.
While this makes the fat harder loose, it also means it produces fewer
inflammatory cytokines which have been linked to heart disease, diabetes
and obesity.
The surprising thing was that it wasnt where the fat was located, it
was the kind of fat that was the most important variable, explained Dr.
Ronald Kahn. Even more surprising, it wasnt that abdominal fat was
exerting negative effects, but that subcutaneous fat was producing a
good effect. I think its an important result because not only does it
say that not all fat is bad, but I think it points to a special aspect
of fat where we need to do more research.
One of the researcher Dr Michael Jensen says that they are currently
looking for ways to increase fat production on your lower body without
increasing fat production anywhere else.
So if you one a healthy body you can now add pear shaped to your list of
option in addition to the more common guitar shape. The apple shape is
still not to be desired though.
