Yaani tuko bize kujadili uingizwaji wa goods ambazo hatujui zimetengenezwa wapi! BADALA ya kuhoji uhalali wa WanyaRwanda waliopenyezwa kwenye idara nyeti za nchi hii
Kila jambo hujadiliwa Kwa wakati wake. Hizo 30.16% zilizopungua Tanzania na kuingia kupitia Kenya ni Hela hizo.

Hizo ni porojo ndefu umeandika. Mojawapo wa vipengele vya mkataba wa DPW ni kuwapa elimu wa wafanyakazi pale bandarini, maana yake ufanisi unakuwa mdogo kwa sababu wafanyakazi hawana viwango vya kisasa vya elimu za bandari.

Kuchukua mkopo haina maana kwamba kiuendeshaji tupo vizuri, malalamiko yalikuwa ni mengi sana pale bandarini katika suala zima la ucheleweshaji wa mizigo ya wateja, ikafikia hatua raia wa mataifa jirani ya Burundi na DRC wakaikimbia bandari na kuanza kutoa mizigo yao pale Mombasa.

Ukipunguza hizi negativity utagundua kwamba bandari ya TPA kwa sasa inaongoza katika suaka la utoaji huduma katika eneo hili la afrika mashariki.
 
Hii hoja inahitaji majibu sahihi na njia sahihi yakuboresha bandari yetu na hizi Taasisi zetu za kodi,ushuru na tozo.

Hili ni tatizo linalohitaji solution sio majibu yakisiasa.
 
Kuna shida bandarini na hasa utaratibu wa kutoa mzigo tena kwa gharama kubwa. Kingine ni ubovu wa barabara zetu hasa kipande cha kutoka Nyakanazi hadi kuipata border ya Rusumo. Barabara ile iko kwenye hali mbaya kwa zaidi ya miaka 6 sasa.
Japo kuna umbali mrefu kwa mzigo wa Rwanda kuingizwa kutokea Kenya na Uganda, unafuu uko kwenye ubora wa barabara za nchi hizo tatu ukilinganisha na barabara zetu. Ukiritimba na janja janja ya bandari na border post zetu inaweza kuwa sababu ya wanyarwanda kuamua kutumia bandari ya Mombasa.
Huko kusini pia hakuko salama, Malawi wako kwenye mchakato wa kuangalia uwezekano wa kuitumia bandari ya Beira zaidi na kwa mbali naona wakijaribu kufanya window shopping kwenye bandari ya Mtwara. Zambia huenda wakajiunga na Malawi kwenye mpango huo. Burundi pia wakati wa Nkurunziza walikuwa na mpango wa kujenga barabara na reli kwenye mwambao wa magharibi ya ziwa Tanganyika ili mizigo yao ipitie Kapirimposhi na Lubumbashi.

Tanzania hawafanyi utafiti shindani wa masoko, wao wanaamimini wateja watakuja tu, hata kama wana tozo za ajabu ama mapungufu, pia wanadhani wateja ni wajinga na wapumbavu

Lack of competitive analysis and taking customers for granted, in reality though these days customers need to be treated like queens even help to solve their family problems, in this case help solve their National burning issues, thus, create partnership in business

Rwanda has made a surprising shift in its trading preferences, with Kenya overtaking Tanzania to become the country’s second-largest source of imports after China.

This marks a significant change in the regional trade dynamics, as Tanzania had long been Rwanda’s primary partner due to its geographical proximity and the role of the Dar es Salaam port.


According to the October 2024 Formal External Trade in Goods report by the National Institute of Statistics of Rwanda (NISR), imports from Kenya reached $121.45 million, representing a 361.43% increase compared to October 2023.

This places Kenya behind only China, which accounted for $142.08 million in imports, a 34.95% rise over the same period. In contrast, imports from Tanzania fell to $57.38 million, marking a 39.04% month-to-month decline and a 30.16% year-on-year decrease.


Several factors appear to be driving Rwanda’s growing preference for Kenya as an import partner.


Rwanda and Kenya have strengthened ties, influenced by improved relations and efforts to reduce trade barriers. In contrast, tensions in the region may have reduced Rwanda’s reliance on Tanzania as a transit route.

Rwanda’s government has encouraged diversification of trade routes to mitigate risks associated with over-reliance on a single country. The Northern Corridor, which runs through Kenya, is increasingly being utilized for imports.

The shift in Rwanda’s trade dynamics with Tanzania is further complicated by rising trade tensions, particularly surrounding Rwanda’s dairy exports. Tanzania has recently imposed various Non-Tariff Barriers (NTBs) on Rwandan milk, disrupting a historically vital trade relationship.

Tanzania has reportedly blocked the entry of Rwandan milk under the guise of meeting local regulatory and quality standards. These barriers have effectively shut out Rwandan dairy products from Tanzanian markets, despite Rwanda meeting East African Community (EAC) standards.
