Amesema wananchi wanatakiwa kufurahia kuwa Serikali haifichi kitu chochote na imekuwa ikiwaambia wananchi ukweli kuhusu hali ya mlipuko huo
Kauli yake inakuja kufuatia baadhi ya Wakenya mitandaoni kusema nchi hiyo inapaswa kulegeza masharti ya kudhibiti maambukizi kama Tanzania
Ameeleza kuwa, Kenya ni nchi ya kidemokrasia na vyombo vya habari vipo huru hivyo haiwezi kuficha taarifa. Nchi hiyo imerekodi visa 17,975 na vifo 285 huku wagonjwa 7,833 wakipona hadi sasa

President Uhuru Kenyatta has asked Kenyans not to compare themselves with countries which are keeping COVID-19 information under wraps.
Uhuru said Kenya was a democratic country and media freedom was paramount and thus could not hide any pertinent information about the pandemic which has infected 17,975 patients in the country as of Monday, July 27.
