For your singular dedication displayed personally, professionally and through sport, to the promotion of human values, personal dignity and noble sentiments. All this together with your good practice and distinguished, meritorious spirit".

POST MATCH ANALYSIS
Although Granada isn't a strong opponent this season but a win is a win and you need to earn it,Real Madrid surely earned its win today.

Defense:
Carvajal was great today just like he is any other day until he got injured and limped off the field. His unmatched commitment to win the ball earned Real Madrid its first goal just in the first 100 seconds after the Kick Off.Arbeloa is aging but he is still a good cover and was involved in Real's 4th goal when he passed the ball to Ronaldo right in front of the goal but Ronaldo couldn't finish it,but James did although it's arguable as it was given as an OG. Marcelo was also good and sent some really good crosses in from the LHS. I have no words from Pepe & Ramos,Granada tried to hit Real Madrid many times on the counter but both of them were always there.Ramos came up with a great blocking right in front if the goal when Casillas was beaten. Those two (Pepe n Ramos) really play with their hearts for Madrid.

Midfield:
Modric who got off a slow start this season and was trying to find it difficult to hold the midfield with Kroos has started to show signs if his old self.Kroos has adapted to his new role too and both of them are always available to to help their back 4 out defensively as well as to distribute the ball to the flanks to switch play. James n Isco were great tonight,James scored a screamer from a tight angle and pressed the ball in the 4th goal to make Granada concede an own goal.

Attack:
Benzema and Ronaldo need no praise. Benzema had set up Ronaldo for Real's 1st goal. Then he set up James for Real's second goal through a lovely flick. Benzema isn't just an ordinary number 9 for sure! After that Ronaldo returned Benzema the favour by assisting him with a superb back heel to make it 0-3 for Madrid. Ronaldo nearly pulled up the trick again minutes later when he back heeled to Isco in a very similar position but Isco was unable to finish it off. Many people think that Ronaldo is just a lethal finisher and lack the mentality of a team player but the way he passes the ball to his team mates to assure Real Madrid a goal instead of being selfish and trying to finish himself.

Casillas: "We're enjoying a great period"

"It's possible that we're in our best moment of form," said Marcelo.

Casillas was in the line-up for the victory over Granada and, speaking post-match, emphasised the team's terrific form: "We're enjoying a great period and I hope that at the end of the season we pick up major silverware like we did last year. We have good young players and more experienced guys who help the youngsters so that they know what Real Madrid is all about. We have the ingredients to win major trophies and make history, and I hope that's the case."

"In the first half, we barely gave away any chances. In the second, with the scoreline in our favour, we did give them more. Granada set up well and played to their strengths. We got the goal after two minutes, it was a big blow for them, and we were more comfortable at the back. They didn't create any chances in the first half and, except for the final stages, it was a quiet match."

"This Madrid side is a team that began to be created after winning the Copa del Rey and the European Cup last year. We know that important players have left, but other important players have joined and you have to gel. The new players are doing well and we're getting positive results."

Marcelo: "We can't afford to relax"
"It's possible that we're in our best moment of form, but we know that we have to improve on a few little things. We can't afford to relax and we have to keep on fighting and working hard because that's the only way we're going to win."

"My primary task is to defend, I had chances to score in attack but it wasn't to be. The best thing is the three points, which are very important for us."

Arbeloa: "James is a brilliant player"
"Players like James fit into any system and team in the world. He is world class, an absolutely brilliant player, and it's a blessing for any coach to have players like him. We're very happy with him."

"We're on a very good run. We're working really hard, scoring goals and we have to continue in this vein. We have won 11 games in a row and now we're thinking about Liverpool and making it twelve. Let's hope that what happened to Carvajal is nothing. He picked up a niggle and preferred not to risk it."

Modric: "We're in incredible form"
"We need to continue this run and we're very happy with the way we're playing. We're in incredible form. We want to be comfortable in games and we played well from the kick-off. The team wants more, and the more goals we score the more we want. It's always difficult to win in Granada but we deserved the victory."

"Xabi Alonso was an excellent player for us, but Kroos and I are playing better and better every game. We're steadily getting to know each other and we know what we want to do on the pitch. I think that we're playing very well defensively."
