He has the right or fair trial(if there will be one) in which he can defend himself against accusations. But, in the spirit of the respect for individual choices and the obligation and the right to be respected and to be respectful of others, I think you are wrong in trying to dissuade JF members from supporting MwanaHalisi's case. Again, I read a very personal grudge in your writings over mwanahaslisi. If this is true, then, I would strongly suggest that you find a separate audience with Kubenea to sort your issues out while leaving interested people to bail the Mwanahalisi in their case.

Otherwise, I strongly support your defence for the innocence of all the big shots who have been implicated in the said scandals so far, however immoral they may appear, until such a time that the competent courts of law will prove otherwise. This is the essence of the rule of law that we so much cherish and defend in this forum. Short of this, we shall very soon slip into the law of the jungle and, if that happens, we will cease to be a civilised people (if at all we are!).

Having said that, there is no doubt in every sane person's mind that the Rostams and the Chenges, though legally innocent, are politically guilt and, as such, their political persecution should not await a court verdict.
