Kupitia taarifa yake, Ubalozi wa Marekani umezitaka pande zote kutatua mvutano ulioibuka juu ya Matokeo ya Urais kwa amani na kwa kufuata taratibu za nchi.
Aidha Ubalozi umewataka viongozi wote wa vyama vya siasa kuendelea kuwasihi wafuasi wao kuwa watulivu na kujiepusha na vurugu.

The US Embassy in Nairobi congratulated the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission - IEBC and other stakeholders for conducting a peaceful election.
In the statement, released on Monday, August 15, the embassy noted that the IEBC held a peaceful and orderly voting and counting process.
They further noted that IEBC's declaration of Dr William Ruto as the president-elect was an important milestone in the electoral process.
"We applaud the efforts of the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission, security forces, and all electoral institutions to organize peaceful and orderly voting and counting process.
"Under the leadership of Chair Wafula Chebukati, IEBC declared William Ruto the winner of the presidential election. This is an important milestone in the electoral process," the statement read in part
Further, the US encouraged all politicians to call their supporters to order and preach peace noting that Kenya is a key partner to the north American country and the stability of the region.
The embassy also encouraged the contestants to find a way of working together and resolve the current stalemate that saw the Azimio team dispute the presidential results.
"Going forward, we urge all parties to work together to peacefully resolve any remaining concerns about this election through existing dispute resolution mechanisms.
"We ask all political party leaders to continue to urge their supporters to remain peaceful and refrain from violence during the electoral process," the statement read.
"The United States and Kenya share a strong partnership. We work together to improve healthcare, promote peace and security in the region, advance respect for human rights, and strengthen our economies. We look forward to continuing to enhance our partnership with the people and government of Kenya," it continued.
The statement came hours after the president-elect Ruto outlined accountability and democracy as one of the main foundations of his administration during his first TV interview.
Ruto reiterated that his administration would adhere to the Constitution while executing its mandate.
He added that his government would be efficient through checks and balances done by the opposition, but ruled out a handshake with the former Prime Minister, Raila Odinga.
