msingi mzuri.

Nimempa rejea moja ni kutoka "memoir" ya Kleist
semina paper aliandika Daisy Aisha Sykes 1968.

Daisy kasanifu lakini alichoandika ni kutokana na mkono
wa babu yake Kleist kuhusu maisha yake.

Kazi hii Daisy kaifanya chini ya usimamizi wa John Illife
mwalimu wake wa historia.

Daisy mimi ni dada yangu tumezungumza mengi kabla
ya mimi kuandika kitabu cha baba yake Abdu Sykes.

Mimi "silalamiki" maana "kulalamika" neno hilo linatokana na
neno "ulalamishi."

Mimi nilipoona upungufu katika historia ya uhuru nimenyanyua
kalamu na kuandika ukweli ulivyo na ndiyo maana leo tuko hapa.

Wala sijasema kuwa akitajwa Nyerere na Rashid Sisso atajwe.

Kwa mtizamo wangu Mohamed Said ameshindwa kuunganisha hizo pieces katika uandishi wake wa historia ya uhuru wa Tanganyika.

Basi kitafute hicho kitabu kimetaja kwingi sana siyo kweli kimeanzia gerezani na kuishia gerezeni.

TANU imetoka Dar es Salaam imekwenda Tabora, Tanga, Lindi, Shinyanga, Mwanza, Kilimanjaro, Dodoma, Bukoba, Morogoro, TANU imefika mpaka Kenya Mombasa.

TANU haikuanzia kwa Nyerere na kuishia kwa Nyerere.
