Uchochezi wa Mohamed Said na dhihaka kwa Wapigania Uhuru wa Tanganyika na Zanzibar

Bwana mdogo hii sensa ina kurasa 109, na uzuri wake imeanza kwa kuelezea mapungufu, mojawapo ni kuwa hii ilikuwa ni sensa ya watanganyika weusi tu, ilikuwa na limitations ya umri, kuna mahali haikufika, Lakini pia imeonyesha ni makabila yapi yalikuwa na watu wengi wakati huo, vipi unahitaji jedwali lake? Je hao waliokuwa wengi kikabila nao si wanatakiwa wajitokeze kudai haki yao kama inavyodaiwa kidini? Mwalimu wako ameshaitumia sana hii sensa kujengea hoja za kizushi, yes za uzushi. Sasa this tyme tunataka na hili nalo tuweke records straight. Ntanguliza Samahani sitakuwa na muda wa kujibu zisizokuwa hoja kulingana na mjadala huu.

2.Sensa imesema kuna sehemu haikufika,huo wingi wa makabila ulijulikanaje?.Naomba hiyo jedwali nayo ilete hapa.
3.Na pamoja na kwamba uwingi wao ni wa makisio wewe tayari unataka wawe ni kigezo cha waislamu kukaa kimya kudai haki zao.Mbali na hapo iwapo makabila hayo kutokana na sababu yoyote ile hawajaona sehemu waliyopunjwa au kunyimwa haki zao kuna umuhimu gani wa wao kudai chochote kutoka serikalini?


I tell you what tatizo ni kuwa wewe uliamini kabisa kuwa haya masuala ni wewe tu unayeyafahamu na umeshazungumza hivyo mara kadhaa. It's the first tyme I can see unaanza ku-tread carefully and safely. It's good though kwa ustawi wa mjadala unaondelea. Sheikh Mohammed Said,nimekusoma kwa makini saana tangia mwanzo wa thread hii yoote. Nimeona na kukubali ustadi na umahiri na jitihada zako katika kuweka historia kwa mujibu unavyoifahamu. Pamoja na makosa madogo madogo lakini nakubaliana na wewe kwa mengi ulosema. Na mintaarafu ya mjadala huu kufunguliwa ilikua ni juu ya uchochezi unaofanya hapo na ati kutaka kuhatarisha amani. Si kweli japo hii pia kama ulivyosema mara kadhaa haizuii wengine kufikiria watakavyo.
Haya malumbano ni hakika hayatakwisha hata miaka kadhaa. Maana kila mtu ana perception,stereotype na prejudice tafauti kutokana na mila na dasturi alizotoka. Ndo maana japo woote mnahisi mnazungumza lugha moja kiswahili lakini muafaka ni mdogo mno. Kwa mfano mambo kadhaa ya kashfa,kejeli na tashtit upatazo humu na kulalama lakini hao wanaokutolea ati hawajui kuwa wametukana!? Nakusifu saana kwa sabra ilokujaa na hiyo ndio tamaduni na dasturi ya msomi wa kikweli.
Kwa ufupi pamoja na hayo yoote mintaaraf ya bayana yangu hii kukuomba ujitoe rasmi kwenye kilingi hiki na ufungue kilingi kingine kwa mafundisho yako ya historia humuhumu JF....labda ukiite Baraza ya Mohammed Said!?ahahah!! Insha Allah wale tutakaokutaka tutakufuata huko na nina hakika itakua ni wengi mno. Maana hapa nahisi ni marudio tu na yule Yericko Nyerere alotoa hiyo mada ya shutuma naona amekua mchangiaji mdogo mno shughuli kawaaachia wenzie!?
Sisi wengine tushapitia saana hizo historia za wazungu miaka kadhaa mpaka zatutia kizunguzungu,ndo maana ni muhimu pia tuwape nafasi kina sie/wenzetu ili nao watupe habari. Matokeo yake uinakua udini,kashfa,jazba na malumbano yaso maana! Najua ni rahisi saana mzungu yeyote hata kama ni mpuuzi kuandika historia ya Tanganyika na kukubalika,hasa pale anapotia mbwembwe kama vile Bwana Nyerere alikutana na mtu fulani kwenye cossy pub/restaurant fulani hapa city centre Mzizima na alikua amevalia suti ya rangi kijivu!ahaha!!....inakua rahisi watu kumuelewa kwa sababu tayari maarifa na akili zetu zina hamu na shauku za myth za kihali fulani! Leo unapokuja wewe Sheikh Mohammed kueleza habari huku ukitaja mitaa ya kariakoo na unakunywa togwa na vitumbua hata kama ni za kweli lakini itakua ngumu mno ku-penetrate kwenye skull ya watanganyika wenzio!....Japo hao hao unaowaeleza inawezekana wakati ndo kwanza walikua Kwimba,Magu, Tandahimba au ngara wakinywa mataputapu na kutafuna senene/panzi!....Hii ndo faida/hasara mojawapo walotuachia wazungu! Na hapa ni hao hao wazungu ndo wanaofaidi na kuneemeka! Wametufanzia mengi saana machafu,leo wametuacha na hasama na kutoaminiana pita kiasi!
Kwa kumalizia Sheikh Mohammed natumai utalikubali ombi langu na kufungua thread/kibaraza chengine ili na sisi wengine tuweze kukuuliza masuala ya kina na labda Insha Allah tujadiliane na kufahamiana.
Mabwana Ritz,The Big Show,Kadogoo,Barubaru na wengine wengi Insha Allah Mola tawalipa fadhila zenu kwa kuwa na Sheikh Mohammed katika mjadala huu.
Mabwana Jasusi,Jokakuu,Nguruvi,Mag3 na Mwanakijiji,mmefanya jambo zuri saana kumhoji Sheikh Mohammed Said kwa kina japo wakati mwengine lugha zilikhitilafiana na ikakurubisha jazba na kejeli kadhaa. Lakini haina neno ndo mambo ya mijadala kama hii. Nina hakika nyinyi ni watu wazima na hishma nyingi saana na hikma zisizo mipaka. Natoa shauri huu mjadala ufungwe maana unakwenda nje ya mintaaraf ilofanywa uanzishwe!? Ndio maana mnaishia kuzungushana kwa maswali na majibu yaleyale na hatimae tunaendea kwenye mambo ya slavery. Haya mambo ya slavery ni very complex subject,kama wapo watakao ili tuzumgumzie masuala kama haya na kuelimishana na kujadiliana kwa undani basi ifunguliwe thread nyingine. Nami Insha Allah japo kwa uchechefu lakini tajitahidi kuchangia maana ni mojawapo ya fani yangu. Kwa mfano kuanza kuitana walowezi,wakati hao unaowaita walowezi wana zaidi ya karne hapo Tanganyika...nafikiri tujaribu kupendana na kuelezana kwa njia nzuri kama ilivyokua enzi za mababu zetu!

Kwa ufupi inastaajabisha kama Serikali imekiona na kukiachia kitabu au vitabu vya Mohammed Said vitambe takribani miaka kadhaa na hata Bwana Nyerere mwenyewe nae hakuona haja ya kujibu,sasa huo uchochezi unatokea wapi!? Maana nafahamu kuwa vitabu vilivyoonekana hatari kama cha Prof. Njozi The Killings of Mwembechai, si tuliona havikuchua hata duru vikafungiwa!? Serikali za awamu kadhaa wamekikuta na kukiacha hiki kitabu ni kweli hwakuona au hawauoni huo uchochezi wa kuhatarisha amani ya nchi kama alivyodai Bwana Yericko Nyerere alipoanzusha mada!?

Njia nzuri na ya kuthibitisha hizo tuhuma dhidi ya Sheikh Mohammed,wanataaluma kama kina Prof Mushi na kama kuna wengine humu wajitolee kuandika kitabu kingine na kuzidi kutufumbua macho soote! Maana tangia hii thread ifunguliwe kuna mambo kadhaa alosema na kutujuza Sheikh Mohammed,kwa ufupi ni kukusanya yoote iwe ushahidi dhidi yake kwenye hicho kitabu kingine. Naye Sheikh Mohammed au mwengine siku yoyote atatokea aidha kupinga kitabu hicho na kuandika kingine,kwa utaratibu huo sisi tusojua ndo tutazidi kufahamu. Kwa mfano mdogo tu angalia JF Kennedy ana biography zaidi ya nne
na kutoka kwa critics wa kila upande.
Tutumie vyema haki yetu ya kujadili na kufahamisha!

Barakat had one day received communist literature among his mail addressed to him by name from an unknown source. Hamilton, with whom they shared an office, took the pamphlet away from him without uttering a single word of reprimand. Barakat had once seen Hamilton reading communist literature in his office and he did not bother to hide it even when he knew that Barakat was watching him. In those days communist literature was considered seditious. The day following the communist literature incident, Hamilton invited Barakat for tea at his house and while there he engaged Barakat in a debate as to whether God existed or not. Hamilton gave his diatribe on Charles Darwin's Theory of Evolution to prove his point that God did not exist. To make the matter rest Barakat told him that as a Muslim he totally believed in the existence of God and of His Supremacy.

[TD]At first Barakat thought that Hamilton was spying on them on their political leanings for which he informed Abdulwahid. But it turned out not to be so. It soon dawned to both Abdulwahid and Barakat that Hamilton was a very sinister character with very radical political leanings. In those days communism and its philosophy were considered by the West as betrayal to freedom and humanity. Africans who harboured such radical ideas were not tolerated. A Catholic newspaper Kiongozi had warned: ‘Human stupidness proves to be unlimited. Russia with her Communist regime is beyond any shade of doubt the unreconcilable enemy of mankind.' [1]

Africans did not go about throwing wild allegations against white colonial officers. The only thing that was possible for them to do was to remain on guard while dealing with him.

[TD="width: 752, bgcolor: transparent"]Abdulwahid also came to learn that his former opponent for the union post and his father's political adversary of many years, Erika Fiah, was instigating the union leadership to overthrow ‘that South African son of Kleist'. Some of the dockworkers were, of course convinced that Abdulwahid should resign and pave the way for Fiah to take over leadership of the union. This created two factions within the union. One faction wanted Abdulwahid to continue leading the union and another called for his immediate resignation. Fiah was preferred because dockworkers thought Abdulwahid was too moderate and supported Fiah's radical stand. As the crisis continued and as there was no signs insight of resolving the dispute, Abdulwahid heeded his father's call and resigned his post in July 1948. Abdulwahid had led the Dockworkers' Union for barely six months.

[TD="width: 752, bgcolor: transparent"]But when the reality of Abdulwahid's resignation became obvious, that is, he was actually leaving the union and members were to elect a new secretary, a faction of the membership retracted and asked him to stay on. Abdulwahid did not want to change his mind. He had other pressing problems at home. His father was bedridden with bronchitis and was insisting that Abdulwahid should resign his post immediately. In a show of solidarity the dockworkers carried young Abdulwahid shoulder-high from the Union's offices at Acacia Avenue (Samora Avenue) to Mnazi Mmoja grounds where the Union used to hold its meetings. Abdulwahid's resignation did not mean that he was out of touch with the movement. His resignation was necessitated by a multiplicity of reasons and a complex situation of intrigue and political machinations involving Hamilton, Fiah and some of the union members.
