And the thing you fail to decipher, is that, CA cannot tell TOTAL anything without passing through Amundi. TOTAL can never reach any commercial closure with CA as there is no direct relationship with it.

1. Is CA a shareholder of TOTAL?
2. Can CA sit in TOTAL AGM and VOTE?

Credit Agricole is one of the banks that are suppose to fund the project. They are also the second biggest shareholders in Total.

then, why did they allow their CEO (total) to sign the SHA and TTA in uganda? If you are the largest share holder of total, then they would have prevented their CEO to sign the tripertite agreement. TOTAL will fund the project, they need to take oil to the world market, otherwise they'll get loss. remember they paid TULLOW almost $ 1 bil to aquire Tullow's share, why all this happen and 2nd shareholder is just watching.

Credit Agricole is just the investment bank that dishes out credit to shareholders. It has no any shares in the project. The promoters/shareholders of the project are TOTAL and CNOOC. If you lift a veil, what you will see is promoters together with their equity capitals. Nadhani tuko pamoja sasa.
