Mkuu haya matusi sasa, na hakika wewe hukusoma kuliko Waislaam hilo nakuhakikishia. Kukariri vitu sio kuelimika...Mohammed Said pamoja na kutokubaliana na wewe juu ya lawama zako kwa Nyerere,at least wewe na wengine have come out of the closet,na kukubali kuwa andiko lako ni ya kimsingi kutetea uislamu.
Huna haja ya kusubiri muda mrefu maana vitatoka vitabu vingi tu kupinga hilo.Hata kwa thread hii na thesis yako nadhani kuna material ya kutosha kurebute propagation zako.
Sasa ukweli utabakia palepale,elimu na maendeleo sehemu nyingi walizokaa waislamu ni duni. Ungeandika kitabu kingine kualleviate hali hiyo. La sivyo rudi kwa ushauri wa Nyerere, jengeni shule za msingi na sekondari maeneo yenu.Halafu watu waache uvivu,walime waache kucheza ngoma zisizo na tija. Maendeleo ni from within, huletewi on a silver platter.

Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. INTRODUCTION
Islam has been in existence in East Africa since the eighth century. With Islam, emerged the lingua franca, Kiswahili, spoken throughout East and Central Africa and the Swahili culture which is mostly associated with Muslims. About two-thirds of East Africa's Muslims reside in Tanzania which is the most populous of the East African countries i.e. Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania. According to the 1957 population census, Muslims outnumbered Christians at a ratio of three to two. This means Tanzania is a leading Muslim nation in the region. But the 1967 census the total figures for Tanzania Mainland are 32% Christian, 30% Muslim and 37% local belief. This shows Pagans as a leading majority. The 1967 census has not been able to show the reasons for the sudden decrease of Muslim population nor the growth of Paganism. This was the last population census showing religious distribution. It is widely believed that the figures for the 1967 census were doctored for political reasons to show Muslims were trailing behind Christians in numerical strength. This paper "lnsha Allah", will try to show the reasons behind such a move and many others.
Christianity is a relatively new religion in Tanzania having introduced into the country during the 18th Century by professional missionaries. Christianity was resisted by Muslims right from the beginning. In any uprising against the colonial state Muslims took that opportunity to attack missionaries and Christian establishments.2 Muslims perceived both missionaries and the colonial state as fellow collaborators and therefore enemies to Islam. Islamic radicalism has therefore a long history in the struggle against colonial rule and Christianity. Christianity meanwhile became a reactionary force siding with the colonial state. In the Maji Maji War of 1905 some Christians fought alongside the German army against the people to safeguard Christianity.3 In this war some Muslims were hanged particularly for killing missionaries and for waging a war against German rule.
The British took over Tanganyika (as Tanzania was then known) from the Germans after the First World War, by then the Germans had done more than their fair share in opening up Tanganyika for Christian influence through various Christian establishments. Tanganyika was divided among different Christian organizations originating from various European countries. The White Fathers were in Tabora, Karema, Kigoma, Mbeya, Mwanza and Bukoba; Holy Ghost Fathers - Morogoro and Kilimanjaro; Benedictine Fathers Peramiho and Ndanda; Capuchin Fathers - Dar es Salaam; Consolata Fathers - Iringa and Meru; Passionists Fathers - Dodoma; Pallotine Fathers - Mbulu; Maryknoll Fathers Musoma; and Rosmillian Fathers -lringa.4 When the People started to organize themselves in political entities during the British rule through various associations, Muslims in Dar es Salaam formed the African Association in 1929 and Jamiatul lslamiyya fi Tanganyika in 1933. Missionaries sensing these African organisations as organised African resistance against the colonial state warned Christians not to get themselves involved in any movements that were challenging the government.5 The church and state provided education to African Christians and denied it to majority Muslims. The two worked hand in hand to mould loyal subjects out of the educated Christians alienating them from the main stream of the struggle against British rule. Resistance against British colonialism was therefore left to Muslims and the struggle for independence and nationalist politics in Tan9anyika assumed strong Muslim characteristics.

Kamati hii ilijulikana kama TAA Political Sub- Committee. Hii ndiyo iliyoandika huo waraka ambao unaweza kupata habari zake katika kitabu changu na cha Cranford Pratt "Critical Phase in Tanzania."

C.V. yako, ukaribu wako na wakina Sykes humu ndani vyote havina maana kwa sababu hatukujui. Kilicho mbele yetu ni maandiko yako ambayo yamejaa inconsistencies. Msomi anatambuliwa na anachoandika na si wasifu wake. Einstein alikuwa mtu wa kawaida tu wakati anaandika relativity theory yake. CV yake ilikuwa nyepesi lakini kile alichoandika kikatikisa ulimwengu. Lakini ndugu yetu wewe usomi wako una walakin. Unataka kuandika upya historia nzima ya nchi yetu kwa kutumia source moja tu? Hauoni hata huyo kijana aliyekuhoji alienda kwa huyo unayedai kuwa ndiye source yako kwa uthibitisho. Kwa vile Kleist katofautiana na wewe, unamuita mnafik maana angekuwa muungwana basi angesimamia yale unayodai alikueleza bila kujali siasa.
Mkuu, hapa ulipoingia ni pabaya. Jukwaa hili lina watu wa kila aina kama ulivyoona. Wako wengi ambao nao waliishi wakati huo unaosimulia, wengine walisoma na huyo unayemtaja na wana uwezo wa kumpigia simu na kumuuliza na wengine ni hao hao unaowazungumzia! Kibaya kingine ni kuwa huu ni wakati wa mtandao, kila unachosema kinaweza kuwa fact-checked mara moja maana tofauti na unavyodhani, wengi tu wameandika kuhusu matokeo haya katika nyanja tofauti. Kutuambia kuwa wewe pekee ndiye oracle wa historia yetu ni kututusi sisi, wazazi wetu na waliotutangulia.
Hauwezi ukadai kuwa waislamu ndio waliomwandikia hotuba Nyerere halafu katika kamati unayodai ndiyo wahusika wakuu, nusu yake ni wakristu ( John Rupia, Vedasto Kyaruzi na Stephen Mhando). Hauwezi kutuambia bila aibu kuwa Mwalimu alichukua risala iliyoandikwa miaka mitano kabla na kuenda kuisoma bila kuifanyia marekebisho. Mtu yeyote anayejiandaa kutoa hotuba muhimu anafanya background studies na anatumia yaliyotangulia kujenga hoja ya kila atakachoenda kuhutubia. Bila shaka kama palikuwepo na draft ya hotuba/ article iliyohusu kitu atakachoenda kuhutubia, alisoma na ilimsaidia. Lakini kudai kuwa aliichukua jumla haiingii kichwani kwa yeyote aliyewahi kufanya presentation ya aina yeyote. Hotuba yake ilitakiwa iwe current kwa hiyo isingeweza kutumia matukio ya miaka mitano na zaidi kabla bila kuweka yale yaliyotokea karibu zaidi.

Wewe peke yako si source ya hulka na tabia za Julius Nyerere kwa hiyo hii ya kutuambia kwamba tusome kitabu chako ndipo tutamjua Julius Nyerere ni kutaka kutusokomezea ideolgy zako na dhana. Nimewasoma wote Sivalon, Bergen, Njozi, Rasheed, Mwaijage(huyu aliwekwa detention kwa kuhusika na njama za kupindua serikali) Wote hao uliowachagua wana theme moja na wewe na kwa hivi nawaweka kundi moja. Bahati nzuri na mimi nilipata bahati ya kumfahamu marehemu Wahid Kleist Sykes. Mwanae Kleist was my school mate and my best friend still up to this day. Nyerere alianza kuandika vitu akiwa Makerere na hata ile hotuba unayodai aliandikiwa na akina Sykes nina hakika 99% Nyerere aliweka mkono wake na mawazo yake pale. Hakuwa mbumbumbu kama unavyotaka watu waamini kwamba alienda UN kusoma kitu kama kasuku. Kama ungefanya utafiki makini ungegundua kwamba kulikuwa na sababu nyingi za Nyerere kuvunja EAMWS na si kwa sababu tu ya harakati za kujenga chuo cha waislamu.

Mohammed Said ndiye anayefaa kuandika aliclhoandika kwa sababu anatokana na familia iliyohusika na harakati za kuleta uhuru,ana nyaraka nyingi halisi na amehojiana na wahusika wenyewe sio akina hao unaosema wamesoma nao.ambao wanaweza kutoa ushahidi wa uongo makusudi kupotosha.
Ni tabia ya ukweli na haki kuibuka muda wowote na watu wa aina yako wala hawana uwezo wa kuukandamiza.
Amandla angalia katika footnotes utakuta majina ya walioandika waraka ule na jinsi Pratt alivyousifia. Halikadhalika utapata kuelewa kutoka kwake hali ya siasa kama ilivyokuwa wakati ule.
Bado nasisitiza kuwa ungekisoma kitabu changu ungefaidika na mengi na hata labda mrengo wa uandishi na mawazo yako katika somo hili ungelibadilika. Nasema hivyo kwa kuwa katika hii post ya sasa hivi cha ajabu nilichokiona ni kuwa umesema yale ambayo mimi nimeyaeleza katika kitabu tena kwa urefu sana. Ikiwa tutaendelea na mjadala huu wakati ukiwa wewe hujui nilichosema katika kitabu tutakuwa tunarudiarudia hoja zilezile na hili litatoa ladha ya mnakasha na hata watusomao watopoteza hamu.
Lole Gwakisa umepatia kuhusu sehemu wanazoishi waislamu wengi kuwa duni na kukuongezea pia hudunishwa. Mimi sikulaumu kwa kufikiri waislamu ni wavivu na wacheza ngoma na wasio taka shule kwani hapo ndipo upeo wako wa kufikiri ulipofika,nani anaweza kumkatalia mtu upeo wake? Inawezekana kabisa waislamu ni wavivu na wacheza ngoma na mambo mengine yote wayafanyayo kujidunisha. Waislamu wa Pemba Kilwa, Kigoma, Tabora, Tanga, Lindi, Mtwara na kwingineko Tanzania wote wana tabia zinazofanana kwa sababu ya tamadunizao za kiislamu. Tamaduni ambazo no tofauti kabisa na zile za Indonesia, Malaysia, Falme za kiarabu na kwingineko kote duniani. Waislamu wa Tanzania labda tatizo lao la kibaiolojia zaidi, wana genes za umasikini na kuwa duni si et eeeh Gwakisa. Hii inawezekana, kama waislamu wote duniani wamezaliwa na genes za kuwa magaidi kwa nini hili lishindikane? Upeo wa kufikiri ndio mpaka wa fikra kwa kila binadamu kufikia tawala zingine za tafakuru ya juu. Hebu hakikisha theory yako ya uduni wa waislamu na kukua na kuzaliwa kwa black nation katika USA, kisha soma Galtung theory of Core and Periphery halafu uone kama mpaka wa upeo wako utaongezeka au la halafu uje uwaambie wana JF
Amandla kuna wakati unatumia lugha safi na kuna wakati unatoka katika mstari, hamaki inatangulia fikra yako. Sisemi usome kwa kuwa nataka kufanya biashara. Ukitumia lugha hiyo utanifanya niache mjadala na wewe kwani mimi si mtu wa hulka za kukashifiana sikulelewa hivyo. Nimefunzwa na walimu wangu toka chuoni (madras) hadi shule adabu ya majadiliano. Hata wale wasionipenda kabisa hawajapata kusema kuwa mimi nimeandikiwa vitabu nilivyopata kuandika. Amandla wewe umefurtu ada. Kwa hiyo kuanzia sasa usishangae utakapoona sijadiliani na wewe kamwe.
