Kenya has never ever been close to South Africa since the 19th century. Read your history my brother. When diamond and gold were discovered in the 19th century, South Africa's economy took off like a piece of sh*t. Infact, it attracted even some poor white people who left their countries just to go and live in South Africa. This wealth is one of the contributing factors to the great boers wars. Where the british and the dutch boers fought for land, resources and political autonomy. Never compare Kenya and South Africa because that makes you look illiterate even though i know you are well read. South Africa has always been the most developed country in Africa, and apart from Egypt, no other country comes close. Nigeria is just third world country with a big Gdp. By the way, did you know South Africa is a member of the G20. That tell's you all you need to know. That said i love Kenya my country and we are one of the success stories of the 21st century whether you like it or notKenya was given the same privilege as South African in terms of ready-made world market in 70's 80's even 90's, but the GDP between Kenya and SA is jaw dropping.
