A DEPRESSED Arsenal fan hanged himself after his team's defeat at the hands of arch rivals Manchester United.
Suleiman Omondi, 29, burst into tears as United scored three killer goals to knock The Gunners out of the Champions League.
Friends told how he was inconsolable when Sir Alex Ferguson's men sealed the 4-1 drubbing.
He walked out of a bar in the Kenyan capital, Nairobi without saying a word.
And he was still wearing his Arsenal shirt when he was found hanged from a balcony hours later in the city's Embakasi neighbourhood.
Crying
Pal Calvin Otieno said at Omondi's home: "We were watching the match at the Bamba 70 pub, and when Arsenal were defeated, Suleiman just walked out in protest.
"He was crying.
"We didn't know he was going to hang himself until this morning when we received the reports.
"We came here to find his body at the balcony."
Arsenal slumped to a 3-1 defeat at home in the second leg of the crunch semi-final after losing the first game 1-0.
The defeat by fierce rivals United capped a grim season for the Gunners in which they have failed to lift a single trophy.
Football-related tragedies are common in many African states, where the English Premiership attracts fanatical support.

Currently, Man U is a better team compared to Arsenal in every department, over the two legs- they proved to every critic without a shadow of doubt that they deserve to be in the final. I jus dont know how we got into the semi playing like that?? Or maybe we never played anyone anyway!
Arsenal players and the manager made me believe that they were going to win last night's game, their confidence was sky high throughout the week. Lakini mechi hii turned out to be like ule mpambano wa Hatton na Pacqiuao, the game was over in 10 minutes! They were all good at talking the talk but when it came to walking the walk- they all crumbled! Its obvious now that we cant mix it with the best. Our current squad is lacking maturity, mental strengh and characters. You dont get these qualities from Song, Diaby, Gibbs, Bentner, Denilson, Nasri , Vela and the likes! Jana hata timu zilipokuwa zinatoka kwenye tunnel ilikuwa ni kama little boys Vs Men, ukicheck tu jamaa za Man zimeshiba, zimepanda ile kichizi wakati vitoto vyetu vinaonekana kama vigonjwa!
Wenger and The Board need to open their cheque books now if at all they want to win anything ,and they care about our feelings as fans vinginevyo nusu fainali ndo zitaendelea kuwa achievements zetu tu. If we need to see throphies at the Emirates, I think we need a Tony Adams at the back, another Pat Vieira in the middle and a new Thierry upfront, hawa wawe wachezaji ambao ni finished articles, very experienced and winners na sio vitoto vinavyojifunza mpira, even if it costs us 100m- be it! Football has changed nowadays, its all about money, if you dont spend big you win f..k all!

Arsenal kwa sasa ni timu ya 4 kwa ubora England, halina ubishi. Man U waliwazidi sana kwenye game zote. Nakubaliana na mdau kuwa anatakiwa 'Adams , Vieira na Henry' na Kocha mwingine ili timu iweze kushinda game ngumu na za lazima kama ya Man U au Chelsea. Mi mshabiki wa Gunaz lakini naona Wenger labda amefika mwisho wa ujuzi

Gallas 'alipobwabwaja' team hii ina wachezaji inexperienced, immature, na wasio na uchu wala ari ya ushindi matokeo yake wapenzi wa ARSENAL kwa mamia walimwita 'Judas Isqariote!' ...wengi walitaka kumtoa roho, wengine walitaka afukuzwe, mwishowe akanyang'anywa u-Captain!
kumbe maneno hayo hayo yalishasemwa na Ljumberg, Hleb, Cash'ley Cole, na hata Thierry Henry mwenyewe, ambao wote waliuzwa! I wonder falsafa yake ya kutotaka mchezaji over 31yrs!!!
Ukichunguza kwa makini, Arsene Wenger anawakumbatia wachezaji wale wasiokuwa na kauli yeyote ndani ya team. Wale wanaoibuka kama viongozi haraka haraka anawauza!
I wish Barcelona ingekuwa inacheza EPL, ningechukua likizo kutoishabikia Arsenal, arrrgghhh! Wenger must Change, if he cannot change then GO!!!

Almunia alinukuliwa katikati ya wiki akidai eti labda sasa ni wakati muafaka wa kusajili wachezaji wenye uzoefu, lakini Wenger akajibu kuwa mara nyingi wachezaji hutaka usajili ufanywe kuongezea nguvu, lakini wakiulizwa ni department ipi hiyo, huwa hawataji idara zao..
Yaani Mr.Bean alikuwa akimpa methali ya nyani haoni makalio yake..
Wakati mwengine Wenger huwa yuko sahihi..lol
