MATCH FACTS
Man of the match - Abou Diaby: There were a few candidates for the Gunners but Diaby was central to many of the home side's best moments and deservedly got on the scoresheet.
Goal of the match: Andrey Arshavin's effort was Arsenal at their best. An end-to-end move started by keeper Vito Mannone and involving Cesc Fabregas saw the Russian apply a sublime finish.
Save of the match: Joe Hart produced an outstanding close-range stop to deny Diaby as he threatened to add a fourth for the Gunners.
Talking point: Arsenal were awarded an indirect free-kick inside the Birmingham box when Seb Larsson was penalised for a back pass after intercepting a through ball. Robin van Persie hammered the set-piece against the bar but why the referee thought it was deliberate was beyond most.

Mzee Wenger aliamua Kirean Gibbs, Emanuel Ebue na Theo Walcott waanze jicho moja likiwa kwenye Champions League na AZ jumanne ijayo.

Arsenal wana bahati kwamba wana safu nzuri ya wachezaji wa kiungo na Samir Nasri yupo njiani ataanza game yoyote ijayo.
Abu Diaby leo amecheza vizuri sana. Yeye ndie alikuwa akipata mipira mingi katikati na kutoa pasi za uhakika, lets hope kwamba ataendelea kuwa hivi katika mechi zijazo.

Arsenal will be without Theo Walcott for up to a month because of a medial knee ligament injury.
Walcott, making his first start of the season, had to be taken off during the first half of Saturday's 3-1 win over Birmingham following a challenge from Liam Ridgewell.
"The news is not good. We are without Theo Walcott for longer than expected," said Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger ahead of Tuesday's Champions League meeting with AZ Alkmaar.
"We thought it would be just 48 hours but it is a medial knee ligament, which is what I feared after the game. He will be out for three to four weeks."
Czech midfielder Tomas Rosicky (knee) is also unavailable for the AZ match, but full-back Gael Clichy has shaken off an ankle problem which kept him out of the Barclays Premier League win over Birmingham.
Samir Nasri, who broke his leg during pre-season, and goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski (knee) will continue their rehabilitation with the reserves on Tuesday night, but strikers Nicklas Bendtner (groin) and Eduardo (groin), midfielder Denilson (back) and centre-half Johan Djourou (knee) remain sidelined.
