Wewe mkunya juha leta evidence kwamba kila mmoja ana distribution lines zake!
Evidence itapata tu usijali, sahii Niko safarini. I have never ran away from backing up my comments with facts. But tatizo lenu tunalijua, the moment ushahidi utaanza kumwagwa hapa mtageuza story na kuanza kusema data zimepikwa sijui unataka picha ya kila nyaya ya transmission line ... Etc

Anyway, Kentraco mainly deals with evacuating high voltage power from power plant to Kenya power's substations , Lakini Kenya power KPLC pia hua iko na high voltage transmission lines zake ambazo Wana link one substation to another. Ngoja nikifika niendako ntakuletea combined high voltage lines za Kenya, trust meme,

mwenzio Tony254 kanyamaza kwa vile anajua unadanganya Kengen haishiriki kwenye power distribution! Nangoja evidence with the number of km of power transmission!

Geza wacha jokes saa zingine.

Unajua kina cha utafutaji wa mafuta? from 1 km to 6km! Again hujui kitu una-demonstrate ujuha! I should ignore u!

Kugenerate umeme mwingi sio kazi. Kazi ni kuutumia. Sisi tuna surplus sasa hivi na tumeshindwa kutumia umeme wote. Utakuja kunielewa mradi wenu utakapokamilika. Sasa hivi huwezi kunielewa. Sasa hio surplus yenu hakuna anayeitaka hapa Afrika Mashariki. Jengeni interconnector powerline na SADC mkauze SADC. Pengine SA atanunua.

Upo so taken na vitu vidogo kama drilling kwenye geothrmal badala ya heat energy hanessing (Heat pump) and heat to electric generating systems! Yaani upo shallow halafu mshamba! Nilitegemea ur argument ingekuwa on that area ila mpumbavu wewe unabishia kuchimba visima vya joto ardhi! Hivi unaweza kupishana na nchi yenye uwezo wa ku-drill kms deep underground na kupitisha giant equipments bulldozers and trucks and trucks?

Seriously? Get a picture of activities all around large mines across Tanzania

Wacha upumbavu aisee hiyo little achievement mliyonayo is nothing to mining countries! Uliza any engineer atakuambia si kitu cha kujisifu namna hiyo!

Tanzania have been having cheap electricity bill compared to Kenya all along but investors are flooding Kenya as compared to Tz. So kitu isiwadanganye kuwa hiyo dam yenu ikiisha investors will just come from nowhere. You can take example with the expansion of JNIA III, it's completion increased JNIA total capacity to around 8M instead it only serves 2M per year.

Unataka kutudanganya kwamba hio drill yenu ndogo inaweza kuchimba kilomita sita?

Hahaha. Good point. Wao wanadhani kwamba cheap electricity ndio kila kitu. Investors wanaangalia whether there are positive policies on the ground.

KPLC ndo ilikua kama TANESCO kitambo..... in 2008 KENTRACO was formed to be the transmitting company for all new transmission networks.... All the transmission networks that existed before KENTRACO was created are and continue to remain the property of KPLC! Wajinga malazy tutaona yakimwaga povu leo, ngoja sasa hivi nikuonyeshe vile Kenya ni moto wa kuotea mbali.

hey, take it from me.. hakuna mlichotuzidi kwenye transmission lines .. labda power generation capacity, hii J.Nyerere HydroPower Plant yetu ndo itatupeleka mbele zaid yenu.. ila kwenye transmission lines jua hakuna mlichotuzidi hata kwa sekunde

Kwani what does it take ku-upgrade a 400kV to 500 kV? Hii sio sector yako punguza upumbavu! If u will take a little understanding of power formulars u will know how can the voltage be manipulated into increasing the capacity of a transmission line!

GOVT UPBEAT ON JNHP FUNDING

SUNDAY NEWS Reporter

10/04/2021

PRIME Minister Kassim Majaliwa on Saturday assured Tanzanians that the government will continue to provide funds for the construction of Julius Nyerere Hydropower Project (JNHP) so that it could be completed on time.

The Premier said the government will do everything in its capacity to ensure the project is completed as scheduled and as per agreed international standards.

He was speaking after a working tour at the site, where he inspected progress of the multibillion project.

The project is scheduled to be completed in June, 2022. According to Mr Majaliwa, everything is set to ensure smooth continuous funding of the project.

“I would like to ensure the public that the government is committed and focused to continue funding this strategic project, which is designed to bring both social and economic changes to all Tanzanians,” said the Premier.

Mr Majaliwa said the project is expected to generate 2115MW and lower costs among wananchi.

“Currently Tanzania generates 1,500MW from other sources, with the additional 2115Mw from JNHP, the country will be able to export excess electricity to neighbouring countries,” he said.

He expressed his satisfaction with the progress in the implementation of the project, saying taxpayers’ money is being used properly.

“I am satisfied with the good job under Arab Contractors and Elsewedy Electric companies, all from Egypt. The good performance has so far been recorded under good supervision of Tanzania Electric Supply Company Limited (TANESCO), Tanzania National Roads Agency (TANROADS) and the Ministry of Energy,” noted Mr Majaliwa.

He said the government invested in the project knowing clearly that hydropower projects are cheaper compared to other sources of electricity.

The Premier said generating one unit from hydropower project costs between 36/- and 50/-, while electricity that is generated from other sources such as oil costs between 440/- and 600/- per unit.

“We therefore focused on hydropower because it is cheaper compared to other sources, and this will enable the government to reduce cost of electricity which is supplied to Tanzanians,” he noted.

Moreover, Mr Majaliwa said the project has also helped to generate employment to Tanzanians who are involved in the construction.

He said some Tanzanians supply construction materials, fuel, food and other services that are required at the site. The Premier revealed that TANESCO has already announced the tender for construction of a main power transmission line from JNHP to Chalinze in Coast region.

He said from Chalinze, other two lines will be constructed towards Dodoma and Dar es Salaam to enable supply of power to all regions in the country. Mr Majaliwa has also ordered the Ministry of Energy to identify all challenges that may lead to any delay of the completion of the project and make sure they are resolved.

"I am also asking wananchi who live along the project area to cooperate with contractors and all workers in this project by assuring them security and protection for their properties, including the machines,” he said.

Earlier, Deputy Minister for Energy, Mr Stephen Byabato said the government has so far provided over 2tri/- for the implementation of the project. Upon completion, the project is expected to cost 6.5tri/.

------------------------------------------------

Hapo ondoa hio 543Km of 66KV kwenye hesabu za Transmission lines, 66kV and below should be considered part of the distribution network. 132kV and above is what is considered a true transmission line

1622757509143.png

So Tanzania has 5,353 Km of transmission lines as of Dec 2019.

1622758720562.png

KPLC still owns a majority of the transmission lines above 132kV , Kentracos network is only 37.5% of all the National Transmission lines, but this wont last long, KENTRACO has 23 active projects U/C

1622759021741.png

When those projects are complete, The will add 6,679 KM of Transmission lines in Kenya, So its only Tz that has future plans, you are not about to catch up anytime soon, you make 3 steps and before you take anotherone Kenya is 7 steps ahead of you!!!

Ongoing projects!
