We dont care about anybody we care about our country. We dont need to import corruption or violence from anybody. East Africa should remain as it is right now, and yes we are not afraid of business because we are better in that field. Kenyans need to understand Tanzanians are happy people and not show off like you guys who like to start fight with everybody.

We are Tanzanians and not your other tribe, you can still do business in TZ now but we dont want to rush to be the same thing with your corrupt and tribal nation. Most people are making a big deal out of our Economy, Tanzania GDP is $12B and Kenya $16B that is not as big deal as you think because that is not a huge difference. You should also consider what we imports from you guys is mostly domestic supplies and the fact that most of minerals like Tanzanite are under radar and should well be above $2b a year which is not considered in GDP.

Tanzania GDP in reality is bigger than $12B and everybody know it. Kenya problem is the fact that you have 50% of the population under poverty level the highest in East Africa, the solution is for Kenya to create middle class, joining TZ and Uganda is not going to make as much difference as you think. Nobody is going to give you guys land and you can not do business by force.

I like ur attitude.It's true Kenya,Tanzania economies are about the same size.No biggie.Trouble is u Tanzanians bhave like our country is at the wrong placing in the geography of the world.This touchy touchy feeling hasn't taken u far an the future is quite dim if u stick to the same ol game u been playing over the years with different playas.We Kenyans have it rough at home an we not damn scared to say it.We host the biggest slums in the world.

How the Mara outshines the Serengeti was a mystery till i saw on discovery channel that the Zebras,Girraffes etc prefer being on the Mara.U got a beef with that,ask God why this is so. Just to let u know the mara was recently voted on ABC as the new seventh wonder of the world.

If this is the kind of thinking you have, I can understand why my fellow Tanzanians are fervently opposed to forming a federation with (you )Kenyans. Actually, I have come to the conclusion that people are not opposed to the federation, rather, they are opposed to forming a federation with Kenyans, for which I share their concerns. Naomba viongozi muweke nguvu katika hoja yetu ili tubaki Taifa moja Tanzania na mengine yawe ni majimbo ya Tanzania najua wapenda madaraka hawapendi hilo ila ni faida kwa sisi wananchi kwani kunapotokea vurugu tunaumia sisi.

Pia nchi jirani zina matatizo makubwa ya ardhi, ukabila na udini! Pia kuna vita vya wenyewe kwa wenyewe nchini Uganda, na matukio ya uhalifu nchini Kenya ni tatizo kubwa! Pia kipindi cha uchaguzi kwa nchi kama Kenya na Uganda hutawaliwa na machafuko makubwa ya kisiasa na kusababisha vifo vya watu wengi sana!

Watanzania tuna matatizo mengi sana, na viongozi wetu wala hawajali. Sasa wanataka kututumbukiza shimoni moja kwa moja!

KIONGOZI wa Upinzani katika Baraza la Wawakilishi, Abubakar Khamis Bakari (CUF), anaandaa mashitaka dhidi ya Serikali ya Tanzania kwa kukiuka Katiba kuhusu Shirikisho la kisiasa la Afrika Mashariki.

Akitoa maoni kwa Kamati ya Kitaifa ya kukusanya maoni ya wananchi juu ya kuharakishwa au kutoharakishwa uundwaji wa Shirikisho la Kisiasa la Afrika Mashariki Mjini hapa jana, Abubakar alisema ni kinyume cha Katiba masuala yasiyokuwa ya Muungano kwa upande wa Zanzibar kusimamiwa na Serikali hiyo.

“Hivi Serikali ya Muungano ina mamlaka gani na nguvu zipi kusimamia mambo ya Zanzibar yasiyokuwa ya Muungano?” alihoji na kuongeza: “Mimi nitakuwa wa kwanza kuipeleke Serikali ya Muungano mahakamani.” Alisema kwa sehemu kubwa mkataba wa kuanzishwa kwa Jumuiya ya Afrika Mashariki umekiuka Katiba ya Tanzania kwa kuipa uwezo Serikali ya Muungano kusimamia mambo yasiokuwa ya Muungano.

“Mimi binafsi najiandaa kuishtaki Serikali kwa kutunyima haki yetu na mkataba wa EAC una kwenda kinyume na Katiba na ni batili haiwezekani Katiba ikiukwe,” alisisitiza Mwakilishi huyo ambaye pia ana taaluma ya mambo ya Sheria, aliyewahi kuwa Mwanasheria Mkuu wa Zanzibar.

Wajumbe wa Baraza la Wawakilishi waliochangia maoni yao jana, walizungumzia zaidi kutatuliwa kwa kero za Muungano na huku wengine wakipinga kabisa wazo la kuundwa kwa Shirikisho hilo.

“Mimi naona tusifikirie kabisa suala la Shirikisho tulifute katika mawazo yetu, tutatue kwanza kero za Muungano,” alisema Zakia Omar Mwakilishi wa viti Maalum wa CUF.

Zakia alisema Zanzibar katika mchakato mzima wa uundwaji wa Shirikisho la Afrika Mashariki itakuwa sawa na mbuzi wa sadaka kwa sababu chini ya mfumo wa Shirikisho Wazanzibari hawatakuwa na chao tena.

Kwa upande wake, Zahra Ali Hamad alisema muda wa kuundwa kwa Shirikisho ni mdogo na badala yake alipendekeza muda zaidi wa kufikiria suala hilo kwa sababu bado Watanzania hawajaandaliwa kukabili changamoto mbalimbali zitakazokuja tokea.

Alisema vinginevyo mamlaka ya Zanzibar itaporwa na kuwafanya Wazanzibari kupotea kabisa kwenye ramani ya dunia. Mzee Ali Ussi wa Jimbo la Chaani (CCM) alipendekeza mwaka 2020 ndiyo uwe muda muafaka wa kujadili wazo la kuwa na Shirikisho, lakini sio kwa sasa.

Fact is: Tanzania economy will forever be dependant on importation of consumer products whether they are coming from India, China, Uganda, Rwanda, S.A, Kenya, they will just import. South Africans, a darling of the Tanzanians have given up on meaningful direct investiment here. Is there one factory owned by South Africans here? NO. The only supermarket chain they run is a dumping site for SA expired products. So what do they want to protect? Their poverty?

Well guys EAF without Tz is the only way.
