Historia ya Uhuru isimuliwavyo na Mohammed Said yakosolewa

Unajua kuna vitu vingine vinakuwa simple lakini kuna watu kama wewe mnavifanya kuwa complicated.

Kama ulivyosema haya ni MAJI MAZITO, na nakuona unaanza kuzama; lakini MS atakusaidia. By the way, naendelea kusoma hii historia ya Ukweli kutoka kwa MS.

"Kile kikundi kilichokuwa kikidai kujitengakilitoa sababu nyingi za uamuzi wao huo. Lakini katika sababu hizo zao zotekubwa zaidi ilikuwa katiba ya jumuiya ile ilikuwa haipo sawa na uongozi wanchi. Walidai kuwa katiba iwe ya Kitanzania na Aga Khan asiwe patroni. Vilevilewakadai kuwa Katibu Mkuu wa jumuiya awe Mwafrika Muislam. (Wakati ule katibualikuwa Abdul Aziz Khaki, Muismaili na Mtanzania wa asili ya Kihindi). Kikundikile halikadhalika kilitaka kujua vyanzo vya misaada kwa Waislam na misaadahiyo ilikuwa kitumikaje.[1]Dai lingine na hili likawa zito kwa uongozi wa EAMWS lilikuwa kuwa ëviongozi waEAMWS wawe wale wanaoamini malengo ya TANU, wale ambao wanapinga TANU hawafaikuwa viongozi wa Waislam wa Tanzania.[1] Madai haya yalifikishwa makao makuu ya EAMWSna Adam Nasibu, Muhammad Zoharia na Hamisi Kayamba. Tewa Said Tewa akiongozaKamati Kuu ya EAMWS alijaribu kuzungumza na viongozi wale lakini hawakutakamaelewano ya aina yoyote. Siku ya pili baada ya kutoa madai haya Adam Nasibualiitisha mkutano wa waandishi wa magazeti na ndipo akaeleza kuwa Bukoba imejitoa EAMWS.Uislam una kanuni na sheria zake za msingiambazo ndizo zinazowaongoza Waislam katika maisha yao ya kila siku. Madaiwaliyotoa kile kikundi hayakuwa madai yenye uzito mkubwa kiasi cha kusababishafarka kubwa kiasi kile kwa sababu madai yale yote yangeliweza kujibiwa kwaurahisi kabisa. Kulikuwa na baadhi ya madai ambayo yalikuwa hayajadiliki kwasababu ya mafunzo ya msingi ya Uislam. Tatizo la katiba lingeliweza kujadiliwana kumalizwa katika vikao vya kawaida. Lakini kuhoji rangi ya Muislam hilohalijadiliki kwa kuwa Uislam haubagui rangi ya mja kwa kuwa kufanya hivyokunapingana na ujumbe wa Uislam wa dini moja kwa watu wa ulimwengu mzima.Kufanya hivyo ni kwenda kinyume na mafunzo ya Qurían Tukufu.Ilikuwa wazi kuwa wale waliokuwa wanadaiutengano katika EAMWS hawakuwa watu wajinga kiasi cha kukosa kujua kuwa hayowaliyokuwa wakidai yalikuwa kinyume na Uislam. Kwa kuwa walikuwawanangíangíania kujitoa katika EAMWS, ilikuwa sasa kitu dhahiri kuwa hikikikundi cha Waislam waliojawa na ëhamasa za kizalendoí walikuwa na mpangomaalum uliokuwa ukisaidiwa na serikali wa kuvunja umoja wa umma wa Kiislam iliWaislam wadhoofike na wawe hawana nguvu tena katika siasa. Hata hivyo, tarehe14 Novemba, 1968, Baraza la EAMWS la Tanzania liliitisha mkutano wajumbe kutoamikoa yote ya Tanzania kujadili ëmgogoroí. Pamoja na waliohudhuria ni wajumbekutoka mikoa ambayo tayari ilikuwa imekwishajitenga na EAMWS. Mkutano huuulifanyika katika shule ya Kiislam ya Kinondoni.Hapajatokea katika historia ya Uislam Tanzaniamkutano kama ule. Uongozi ulikuwa unaingia katika chumba cha mkutano tayariumeshajeruhiwa vibaya sana na propaganda za magazeti ya TANU na radio yaserikali. Katika moja ya shutuma ambazo zilikuwa zikiandama uongozi wa EAMWSilikuwa ni matumizi mabaya ya fedha za jumuiya.Akifungua mkutano ule Tewa aliwatahadharishawajumbe kuwa makini katika lolote watakaloamua kwa kuwa endapo wajumbewatashindwa kuafikiana basi matokeo yake ni kuvunjika kwa EAMWS, umoja waWaislam na mwisho ya miradi yote ya elimu pamoja na ujenzi wa Chuo Kikuu.[1]Hisia kali zilitawala mkutano huu na baadhi ya wajumbe wanawake walikuwawakilia hasa pale baadhi ya wajumbe walipokuwa wakitoa michango yao katikamjadala walipokuwa wakisoma aya za Qurían Tukufu na kueleza fadhila za kupiganajihad dhidi ya madhalimu na wanafiki. Hisia hizi kali zilitokana na ukweli kuwawajumbe walikuwa wanafahamu kuwa wale wenzao waliokuwa wakidai kujitengawalikuwa wakitumikia Ibilis tu na wala msimamo waliokuwanao haukuwa wao walahawakuwa wanayafanya yale kwa mapenzi ya Allah na Mtume wake. Mwenyekiti wamkutano Tewa Said Tewa aliahirisha mkutano hadi siku ya pili ili wajumbe wapoena watoe mchango wakiwa katika hali ya utulivu. Katika wajumbe ambao walisimamakidete kutetea umoja wa Waislam walikuwa Sheikh Issa Mchowera kutoka Mtwara,Bilali Rehani Waikela, Hassan Johari na Sheikh Abdallah Said kutoka Kigoma.Mkutano uliamua kuunda Tume ya Uchunguzi ya watusaba [1]kuchunguza chanzo cha ëmgogoroí na kisha itoe taarifa. Mussa Kwikima kijanamwanasheria alichaguliwa kuwa katibu wa tume ile ya uchunguzi. Wakati huo mikoatisa ilikuwa tayari imeshajitenga na EAMWS na magazeti ya TANU yakawa tayariyamejenga ëmgogoroí ule kufikia hali ya kuonekana kuwa ni ëmgogoroí wa taifazima ambao kila mtu anaweza kuuingilia na kusema atakalo. Magazeti ya TANUyakawa yanaandika na kuchapisha mambo ya EAMWS kama wanavyotaka, wakizidi kutiachumvi katika ugomvi ambao tayari ulikuwa umeshaleta hofu na farka kubwa katikajamii. Inasemekana viongozi wengine wa EAMWS walikuwa wanaambiwa wajitoe hukuwameshikiwa bunduki." [1]

Samahani sana kwa kuchelewa kujibu suala lako. Kwani hiyo inasababishwa na mimi kuwa nje a Tz hususan Tanganyika lakini pia nimechukua jitihada za kuwauliza baadhwi ya swahiba zangu wa Bank mbalimbali na baadhi ya masheikh ili nitoe jibu sahihi. Wote wamenijibu kuwa Kuna Taasisi ya Bakwata na Ile ya Baraza kuu la taasisi za Kiislam (kifupi BARAZA KUU). Hizi ni taasisi zinazokubalika na kutambulika zaidi na Serikali japo Usajili wake ni sawa na taasisi yoyote ya kiislam kama Tampro etc Serikalini.

Nakuwekea hii hapa chini na madhumuni yangu ni kukuhakikishia kuwa hili somo nalijua. Ingia katika darsa hii:
"...the only organisation thought fit toco-ordinate all those Muslim organisations and convene a meeting to discuss thefuture of Islam in Tanzania was the Dar es Salaam University Muslim Trusteeship(DUMT). DUMT convened a meeting in which all Muslim organisations based in Dares Salaam including BAKWATA were invited. The agenda of the meeting was how tosolve the leadership crisis in BAKWATA. The meeting was held at the Universityof Dar es Salaam and was chaired by Tewa Said Tewa the former chairman of theEAMWS.[SUP]2[/SUP]BAKWATA refused to attend this meeting. Several meting were to be held at theuniversity under the chairmanship of DUMT between July and September, 1991.Emissaries were sent to the regions to consult with the independent Muslimleadership on the possibility of convening a national Muslim conference todebate on the future of Islam in Tanzania. The responses from the regions werevery encouraging. BAKWATA tried its best to sabotage the conference. It sentits own emissaries to the region to try to persuade Muslims not to attend theconference. It also sent a letter to the government to ask its intervention tostop the conference.On 15 September, 1991 a NationalMuslim Conference was held at Nkrumah Hall of Dar es Salaam University. [SUP]3[/SUP]Appreciating the sensitivity of Muslim politics the select committee which wasco-ordinating Muslim affairs sent each and every minutes of the meeting to thePresident's Office. President Mwinyi realising religious issues which requiredgovernment intervention, had established a special desk of religious affairs.President Mwinyi sent Abdulrahman Kinana, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairsand International Co-operation to open the conference. Kinana delivered amessage from the government which said that the government would cooperate withMuslims in finding a solution to their problems so long as Muslims pursuedtheir goal peacefully.In the history of Muslim movement inTanzania never before had such a huge number of Muslim activists assembled inone place. Delegates came as far as Kagera and Rukwa. All who rose to speak hadnothing but condemnation for the leadership in BAKWATA and none was more vocalthan Sheikh Kassim bin Juma. In his speech to the delegates he said hesupported the new initiative to provide a strong and dependable leadership toMuslims of Tanzania but was worried with the factor that the leadership whichwas poised to lead Muslims was comprised of the Ansar (OrthodoxMuslims). The conference by acclamation ousted the BAKWATA leadership frompower except the Grand Mufti Sheikh Hemed bin Juma bin Hemed on the ground thatit did not have qualifications to lead a Muslim organisation. A 15-mancaretaker committee under Sheikh Salum Khamis, a retired civil servant and agraduate of Makerere College was elected and given the task to prepare for generalelection to enable Muslims choose its own leadership freely."

Wote wamenijibu kuwa Kuna Taasisi ya Bakwata na Ile ya Baraza kuu la taasisi za Kiislam (kifupi BARAZA KUU). Hizi ni taasisi zinazokubalika na kutambulika zaidi na Serikali japo Usajili wake ni sawa na taasisi yoyote ya kiislam kama Tampro etc Serikalini.

Tatizo kubwa kabisa lililowasibu ndugu zetu ni kutoelewa historia ya Tanganyika. Kwa takriban miaka 50 wakiamini historia ya uhuru wa Tanganyika ni ile ya Nyerere. Umeshuhudia hapa kishindo walichokipata baada ya mimi kuwaeleza historia nyingine kabisa ambayo imejaa michango ya Waislam.

Sasa hata yale yaliyokujatokea baada ya uhuru yaani mapambano ya Waislam na Nyerere katika kutaka mabadiliko ya kweli historia yake hawaijui. Ndiyo maana ninaposema Waislam na Bakwata wao wanashindwa kuelewa, Waislam ni nani na Bakwata ni nani.

Lakini Alhmdulilah tumejitahidi kuwaeleza na sasa naamini wanafahamu kuwa Waislam hawakuiunda Bakwata na ndiyo maana hadi leo haikubaliki.

Sasa huu ndiyo ukweli na serikali wanalijua hilo lakini ili kudumisha dhulma dhidi ya Waislam lazima Waislam wawekwe katika hali ya kuwa wasiwe na ruksa ya kujijengea taasisi zake wenyewe. Msajli wa Vyama akishajua kuwa taasisi inayotaka tasjila ni ya Kiislam watakuambia lete barua kutoka Bakwata. Hapo sasa ndiyo shida. Bakwata hawakupi hiyo barua.

Hili tumelivuka Alhamdulilah sasa Waislam "tunaelewana" na Bakwata hawatupi shida hata kidogo wala hathubutu kiongozi wa Bakwata kuwabughudhi Waislam au kupeleka fitna serikalini. Baadhi yao wameshajielewa.

Haikuwa kazi rahisi.

Kwa Kanisa hofu bado iko palepale kama ilivyokuwapo baada ya uhuru kuwa Waislam wanajikusanya kujiletea maendeleo nini itakuwa hali ya Ukristo katika mazingira kama hayo?

Na hofu kubwa ni kuwa itakuwaje hali ya nchi Waislam wakiitafsiri dhiki yao na kuona kuwa ufunguo wa kuondoa dhiki yao ni kupitia chama cha siasa kama ilivyokuwa TANU?

Several meting were to be held at theuniversity under the chairmanship of DUMT between July and September, 1991.Emissaries were sent to the regions to consult with the independent Muslimleadership on the possibility of convening a national Muslim conference todebate on the future of Islam in Tanzania. The responses from the regions werevery encouraging. BAKWATA tried its best to sabotage the conference. It sentits own emissaries to the region to try to persuade Muslims not to attend theconference. It also sent a letter to the government to ask its intervention tostop the conference.On 15 September, 1991 a NationalMuslim Conference was held at Nkrumah Hall of Dar es Salaam University. [SUP]3[/SUP]Appreciating the sensitivity of Muslim politics the select committee which wasco-ordinating Muslim affairs sent each and every minutes of the meeting to thePresident’s Office. President Mwinyi realising religious issues which requiredgovernment intervention, had established a special desk of religious affairs.President Mwinyi sent Abdulrahman Kinana, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairsand International Co-operation to open the conference. Kinana delivered amessage from the government which said that the government would cooperate withMuslims in finding a solution to their problems so long as Muslims pursuedtheir goal peacefully.In the history of Muslim movement inTanzania never before had such a huge number of Muslim activists assembled inone place. Delegates came as far as Kagera and Rukwa. All who rose to speak hadnothing but condemnation for the leadership in BAKWATA and none was more vocalthan Sheikh Kassim bin Juma. In his speech to the delegates he said hesupported the new initiative to provide a strong and dependable leadership toMuslims of Tanzania but was worried with the factor that the leadership whichwas poised to lead Muslims was comprised of the Ansar (OrthodoxMuslims). The conference by acclamation ousted the BAKWATA leadership frompower except the Grand Mufti Sheikh Hemed bin Juma bin Hemed on the ground thatit did not have qualifications to lead a Muslim organisation. A 15-mancaretaker committee under Sheikh Salum Khamis, a retired civil servant and agraduate of Makerere College was elected and given the task to prepare for generalelection to enable Muslims choose its own leadership freely."
