Ndugu yangu niko tayari uniite jina baya wafanya wapate kunihukumi. Umeniita Islamist, wengine wameeniita siasa kali.
Hata hivyo ukiniita tu ujue hiyo ni "The last kicks of a dying horse"
Majeshi na idara za polisi na magereza ktk nchi hizo zina kitu kinaitwa THE GUIDE ON RELIGION AND BELIEF IN THE ARMED FORCES.
Sehemu ya guide hiyo inasema na nanukuu.
The Armed Forces recognise that individuals with specific religions or beliefs generally welcome the opportunity to wear clothing with significance to their religion or belief. This is reflected in the Services’ dress regulations that
take account of cultural and religious differences such as permitting individuals to wear items of religious significance and Muslim women to cover
their arms, legs and head in all aspects of their work. More detailed information on religious dress in the Armed Forces can be found at Annex A.
For operational and health and safety reasons, members of the Armed Forces may have to be flexible in some circumstances.
However, the Armed Forces’
policy is to ensure that any such restrictions regarding clothing to be worn in an operational environment are genuine requirements on grounds of
operational effectiveness or health and safety.
Muhimu: General dress codes which conflict with religious or belief requirements may constitute indirect
discrimination under the Equality Act unless they can be justified.
Freedom of religion should not be violated by States in the context of counter-terrorism responses or Secularism as idelody.
States also have accompanying responsibilities to ensure that fundamental rights and freedoms are not violated by non-States entities such as terrorist actors.
Not only is this freedom protected in international and regional treaties, but those policies that limit freedom of religion to counter-terrorism might fuel religion-related terrorism.
Counter-Terrorism Module 13 Key Issues: Freedom of Religion
