Wait for your SGR railway to be complete before you start talking about central corridor competing with our northern corridor. Right now northern corridor is a monopoly.

By 2025 it will be over, this one is the most difficult part because it goes through city. Phase two is 50% complete.This is phase 1, only 200 km. How many years will it take for all the railway to Uganda border to be built? 10 years? Hahaha
Hio 2025 ni projections tu ila mradi kama haujengwi na Wachina lazima ikawie kupita deadline. Hawa waturuki walistahili kumaliza phase 1 mwaka uliopita na sasa 2020 inakaribia kukamilika bila mradi kukamilika. Kila nchi ina wakora ila mfanyibiashara wa kawaida hawezi kutumia Dar ambayo iko south of Mombasa. Haimake sense mzigo unatoka China kisha inaenda Dar ili irudi tena juu hadi Kenya. Hio ni long distance na mzunguko wa kipuuzi na expensive. Short route ni kuingia Mombasa badala ya kuenda chini hadi Dar au Tanga halafu kupanda tena.

Kama gharama za kusafirisha cargo kutoka Mombasa hadi Nairobi kwa kutumia SGR ni ghali kuliko kutumia MGR ya Tanga Arusha, lazima watatumia bandari ya Tanga/Dar.
