KUNA DALILI KWAMBA AFRICA TULILAANIWA TOKA ENZI ZA NUHU, for Christians, read down from
Genesis 9:20 And Noah began to be an husbandman, and he planted a vineyard:
[SUP]21[/SUP] And he drank of the wine, and was drunken; and he was uncovered within his tent.
[SUP]22[/SUP] And Ham, the father of Canaan, saw the nakedness of his father, and told his two brethren without.
[SUP]23[/SUP] And Shem and Japheth took a garment, and laid it upon both their shoulders, and went backward, and covered the nakedness of their father; and their faces were backward, and they saw not their fathers nakedness.
[SUP]24[/SUP] ¶ And Noah awoke from his wine, and knew what his younger son had done unto him.
- Genesis 9:25: And he said, Cursed be Canaan; a servant of servants shall he be unto his brethren,
- Genesis 9:26: And he said, Blessed be the LORD God of Shem; and Canaan shall be his servant;
- Genesis 9:27: God shall enlarge Japheth, and he shall dwell in the tents of Shem; and Canaan shall be his servant.
The first possible mention of going to Africa, where most black people (of varying depth of color) originate today, was from Noah's family, from whom all people came, due to the Flood. Noah's son, Ham, had a son Cush, (Genesis 10:6
And the sons of Ham; Cush, and Mizraim, and Phut, and Canaan) of whom the Ethiopians were believed to have come.
The
curse of Ham is an assumed biblical justification for imposing eternal slavery upon Black people, and Black people alone. So even the slavery business was grounded in Africa zaidi as the curse mentioned.
