Nimesoma andiko lako kuwa watu HAWANA UELEWA ndiyo maana wanakataa mkataba wa DP World. Nomba kwa manufaa ya wengi ujibu hoja hizi mbili tu. Kumbuka wewe ni "national Figure" in academics, tamko lako linaamsha maswali)

1. Kama mkataba una manufaa , kwanini bandari za Zanzibar hazipo? (kizuri kweli uache kula na ndugu zako Zanzibar, uwape jirani?)

Wewe kwa fikra zako unadhani hiyo mikataba ya HGA itakuwa nafuu zaidi ya hii IGA?

Kuwa na IGA kabla ya hizo HGA maana yake ni nini? Siyo kwamba mikataba hiyo ya HGA itaongozwa na makubaliano/mkataba wa IGA?

Na zaidi ya yote, hizo HGAs hutaruhusiwa kuziona, ni siri. Sasa hapo utatueleza kitu gani kuhusu hizo HGAs unazozitegemea wewe?

Na zaidi ya yote, hizo HGAs hutaruhusiwa kuziona, ni siri. Sasa hapo utatueleza kitu gani kuhusu hizo HGAs unazozitegemea wewe?
Hoja mwanasheria wetu wa ujerumani anatuambia IGA ndio HGA na tumeingia chocho kuaminishwa hivyo. Mikataba yenye usiri ni hatua ya tatu mikataba ya TPA na Mukodishwaji ambayo wambunge wana access nayo wakiihitaji.
 
Swali hili kuhusu bandari ya Zanzibar limeshajibiwa mara nyingi tu hapa tena na watu tofauti, lakini bado linarudi tu waulizaji wakihisi wanauliza swali la pointi saaaaana kumbe pumba tu.
Ni hivi bandari ya Zanzibar ilishapata muekezaji kutoka Ufaransa kabla ya DPW, hivyo isingekua rahisi kuvunja mkataba.
Na hapa unadhani mjuaji ni wewe, au siyo?
Kama maswala ya Bandari ni ya Muungano, uwekezaji huo wa Ufaransa ulishughulikiwa na serikali ya Muungano?

Bandari ya Zanzibar haipo kwasababu muwekezaji hana interest na Bandari hiyo kutokana na Investment Plan yake. Hajaona faida ya kuendeleza Bandari ya Zanzibar huku akijua biashara ipo Rwanda, Zambia, Malawi, DRC, Burundi na mikoa ya mbali. Hiyo mizigo atayoishushia Zanzibar itaenda wapi? Hivi hili nalo linahitaji muende mahakamani nyie wapinga maendeleo.

Professor Asad amekuwa smart kwa kugusia upotoshaji unaofanywa kwenye maeneo machache hususan umiliki na matumizi ya ardhi.

Acha kutembelea nyota ya member mwenzako, jitegemee. Yaani mwekezaji asilazimishwe kwa jambo la maslahi la taifa? Kwa hiyo asilazimishwe kuajiri baadhi ya wafanyakazi wazawa kwa kazi wanazoziweza, hata akiamua kuja na vibarua waarabu iwe sawa tu?

Katika jambo hili inaonekana wazi kwamba ni zaidi ya "njaa" inayowasukuma baadhi ya watu kufunga akili zao upande fulani.
Hili lipo wazi tokea mwanzo, na lipo kwa muda mrefu.
Kwa baadhi ya watu, ukiweka kwenye mizani na kupima uTanzania wao na dini zao wanazoziamini wao, dini zinakuwa ni kila kitu kwao, na kusahau kwamba Tanzania ipo siyo kwa manufaa ya dini yoyote bali kwa waTanzania wote.

Kama ni mungu wanayemwamini ndiye aliyeiweka hapo Tanzania na kuwaweka wengine wote waliomo humo na kuwapenda, wao hilo hawalioni kabisa.

Huu ni upumbavu mkubwa sana, bila kujali kiwango cha usomi alionao mhusika.

DP World wins latest judgement in Hong Kong Court over Djibouti concession​

DP World has won the latest in a string of court rulings, as it defends its rights as shareholder and concessionaire in Djibouti’s Doraleh Container Terminal.

The Court of Appeal of Hong Kong has dismissed the latest request by China Merchants Port Holdings seeking permission to file a second appeal before the Court of Final Appeal, against its previous decision that DP World’s suit against the company should be heard before Hong Kong Courts, and not the courts of Djibouti.

DP World and joint venture company Doraleh Container Terminal are bringing multi-billion dollar claims against China Merchants alleging that it induced the government of Djibouti to expel DP World from the country and hand over the Doraleh terminal to China Merchants. China Merchants investments in other ports and free zone projects in Djibouti, in breach of DP World’s exclusivity rights, will also be examined.

China Merchants surprisingly argued that the case should be heard by the Djibouti courts, despite Hong Kong being its home jurisdiction. The High Court of Hong Kong agreed with DP World’s arguments that the case should proceed in Hong Kong and ordered China Merchants to pay its legal costs. The Court of Appeal dismissed an appeal against that decision, and has now refused to grant China Merchants permission to file a second appeal before the Court of Final Appeal.

The Hong Kong court ruling follows a ruling in January 2022, by the London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA) against the Republic of Djibouti, awarding interim damages of US$ 200 million for damages caused over the period between for the period 23 February 2018 to 31 December 2020. That was the eighth decision by an international court or tribunal in favour of DP World in its ongoing dispute with the Republic of Djibouti, and total damages due to DP World now amount to US$ 686.5 million, plus accruing interest, while the Concession itself remains legally in force.

The Doraleh Container Terminal is the largest employer and biggest source of revenue in Djibouti and has operated at a profit every year since it opened.

Siasa za kuhamisha magoli. Elewa kwanini mkataba kwanza ulipita bungeni ndio uje na hoja hizi za kujaribu kujipa umuhimu kwenye suala hili la bandari.
 
Hayo tunatakiwa tuyaseme kwenye hii mikataba ya kibiashara, huko bungeni hayahusiki.
Lakini yanayohusika Bungeni ni kuwa kama Tanzania haiyataki yatakayokuwemo humo ndani ya HGA, haina njia ya kujinasua na kuondoka bila ya ruhusa ya Dubai, au siyo? Hii ni akili sawasawa hii?
