Hivyo waswahili na makabila Afrika Mashariki wana ufahamu mkubwa jinsi misimu, urefu wa siku, miezi , mwaka huendana na jinsi dunia inavyoegama au kuikabili jua kimuegamo ndo maana kuna siku ndefu na fupi pia siku moja iliyotimia kwa usawa (equinox) yaani saa 12 za kiza na 12 za mwanga ktk saa 24 ya siku.
Hali zote hizo za 'vitimbi (manifestation ) au tuite tabia vya mgeuko wa sayari yetu dunia zinachukuliwa kwa umuhimu mkubwa ili kutambua misimu, pepo za kaskazi / kusi , kuchafuka kwa bahari, mvua kubwa, mvua ndogo, mwezi mchanga, kuangalia nyota agani ya Kilímia yaani kulima kwa kiswahili cha leo n.k Hakika Hii ni elimu kubwa tuliyonayo wenyeji tofauti na kalenda ya kutundika ukutani ...
