Kwanza tuelimishane kuhusu maneno haya mawili, ''SUNRISE''-MAWIO/Kuchomoza kwa jua na ''SUNSET''-MACHWEO/Kuzama kwa jua.
Tuje kwenye aya limetumika neno la kiarabu;''MAGH'RIB''
“MAGH’RIB”-Magharibi [WEST/SUNSET in english] lina maana tatu:-
1)The Time of sunset-Muda wa kuzama jua
2)Direction- Uelekeo wa jua linakozama
3)The place of sunset-Mahali jua linapozama
Hivyo, mfasiri (Translator) anaweza tumia maana mojawapo kati ya hizo tatu. Ila shida inakuja kwenye uelewa wetu tu.
Kwanza linguistically, tunapotumia maneno haya,''kuzama na kuchomoza kwa jua-Sunset and sunrise'' hatumaanishi kiuhalisia wake (Literally) kuwa kweli jua inafika wakati huwa linazama na kuchomoza, Lahashaa! NI JINSI TU LINAVYOONEKANA KWETU (IT APPEARS TO US in our point of views as if it sets and then rise)
But, tukija scientifically there is no sunrise or sunset. The sun is a very huge heavenly body to rise or set in a certain place on earth's suface because the earth is very very very small compared to the sun.
The sun is always in motion in its own orbit japokuwa wewe umesema lipo mahali pamoja (Stationary). Nenda kasome hiyo ilikuwa theory ya zamani sana lakina sasa wana sayansi wamegundua kuwa jua na lenyewe lina move haliko stationary.
Tuje kwenye aya ya Qur'an uliyonukuu sasa.
Ningependa kutumia translation ya Kiingereza ili uweze kunielewa vizuri.
Qur'an surah-al Kahf; 18: 83-86 (Yusuf Ali translation)
83-They ask thee concerning Dhul-Qarnain. Say, ''I will rehearse to you something of his story''.
84-Verily we established his power on earth, and We gave him the ways and means to all ends.
85-So he followed a way.
86-Until, when he reached the setting of the sun, he found it set in a spring of murky water. Near it he found a people; We said, ''O Dhul-Qarnain! either you punish them or treat them with kindness".
So, ukisoma hiyo verse ya 86, Allah ametumia neno "WAJADAHAA" kumaanisha Dhul-Qarnain ''found it'' or ''it appeared to him" as if it sets in a spring of murky water.
Hivyo, hapo Allah anasimulia alivoona Dhul-Qarnain (according to his view point) it appeared to him as if the sun sets in a spring of murky water.
Lakini pia, chakushangaza umeweka hoja tu kuhusu ''the setting of the sun" kwenye hicho kisa cha Dhul-Qarnain mbona hukuweka hoja kuhusu, "the rising of the sun" kwenye hicho hicho kisa kama inavyozungumzwa kweye aya ya 90 ya Surah-al kahf👇👇 iliposema "HATA ALIPOFIKA MATOKEO YA JUA ALILIONA LINAWACHOMOZEA WATU'' inaonyesha kuwa ume copy & paste hiyo hoja yako some where ili kui-disprove Qur'an.
Qur'an 18:90-"Until, when he came to the rising of the sun, he found it rising on a people for whom We had provided no covering protection against the sun."
In addition, ifuatayo ni mojawapo ya aya, Allah anazungumzia kuhusu jua linavyo move kwenye orbit yake na haiwi kwa jua kuingia kwenye orbit ya other heavenly body kama moon, earth etc kila kimoja kina revolve kwenye orbit yake👇👇
Qur'an 36:40-''It is not for the sun to overtake the moon, nor does the night outstrip the day. They all float, each in an orbit"
Swahili translation;
Qur'an 36:40-"Haliwi jua kuufikia mwezi, wala usiku kuupita mchana. Na vyote vinaogelea katika njia zao"
