“The Negotiator” is a dramatic action-thriller about a large operation to free hostages from terrorist captivity in Afghanistan. The director of the film is Im Sun-ne , a graduate of Hanyang University who began making films back in 1996. Her first film was the drama “Three Friends,” and her first famous film was the almanac film “If You Were Me.” Their main success was the 2018 comedy drama “Little Forest,” which collected a strong box office around the world. The detective drama The Whistleblower, which, like The Negotiator, was based on real events, was equally well received.

Jordan was chosen as the filming location, but due to the pandemic, their start shifted from March to April, and then to a much hotter June. As a result, the film grossed $13.5 million at the box office, becoming director Im's most successful film.

Ingekuwa kweli kila mtu angekuwa anakimbilia kufa aenda mbinguni au peponi ila ndio kwanza viongozi wanajiwekea ulinzi mathubuti ili kuepuka vifo, hospitali zinajengwa na madaktari bigwa wanatafutwa ili kuzuia vifo acha kabisa hizo mambo kufa si mchezo.

Mm naweza ku sacrifice maisha yangu kwa ajili ya familia ila sio kwa design hiyo.
